2. Data We Collect: Website Visitors

We do not collect personal data from visitors to our website. We do not operate forms that request personal information, and we do not build profiles of individual website visitors.

Our website is built on Squarespace, which includes built-in integrations with Google Analytics and Squarespace Analytics. These tools collect anonymised, aggregated data such as:

• Traffic source (e.g. search engine or direct visit)

3. Data We Process: Business Contacts

If a company or individual contacts us by email, we process only the information they have voluntarily provided:

• The sender’s name (if provided)
• The sender’s email address
• The content of their message

We use this information solely to respond to the enquiry using the email address the contact was sent from. We do not add contacts to any mailing list, and we do not share this information with third parties.

As part of delivering our GEO audit and consultancy services, CheckMarque AI may use publicly available information about companies. This may include:

• Company names and descriptions
• Publicly listed contact email addresses
• Company records from public registers or public websites
• Publicly available content used to analyse AI visibility and search presence

This data is used internally to deliver our services, including AI visibility scoring, competitor benchmarking, and strategic recommendations. It is not sold, shared, or published externally.

Legal basis: We rely on legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Our legitimate interest is to provide GEO analysis and consultancy services. We have assessed that this interest is not overridden by the privacy interests of the companies concerned, as:

• The data is already publicly available
• We do not sell, share, or publish this data
• We do not use it for profiling individuals or automated decision-making
• We use it only in the context of genuine business services

5. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell any data to third parties
• We do not share company data or insights externally
• We do not build personal profiles of individuals
