Avi Sancheti
Avi Sancheti is co-founder of CheckMarque AI.
His background is in making physical systems run reliably. He trained as a mechatronics engineer, and today works at a Delft company that builds control hardware for quantum computers, where getting the right part to the right place on time is the whole job. At TU Delft he redesigned the batching, picking and routing for a retail chain's distribution, cutting costs by 18%, and later supervised five student teams working with Transavia, Stedin, Ahold Delhaize and ArianeGroup as a teaching assistant.
He sees AI-mediated buying from the other side of the table. Working in procurement and logistics in quantum technology, he watched his own team shortlist suppliers on what a model said about them, before a single vendor conversation had started. That habit of looking at a process end to end, from the first request to the delivered result, shapes how he looks at the question every business will soon face: whether a buyer's agent can actually complete a purchase with them.
He holds a BTech in Mechatronics Engineering from NMIMS in Mumbai and an MSc in Management of Technology from TU Delft. He is based in Delft.
